Having a healthy self-esteem has many positive benefits. Kids who love who they are, tend to see themselves in a positive light and believe in their ability to learn new things. They are usually confident and get along well with others. Additionally, children with positive self-esteem are better able to overcome obstacles and deal with setbacks.
Today I am sharing a Self Esteem Freebie that gets kids to reflect on their strengths by completing an I am…sentence stem.
Being able to exhibit self-control and also being able to be assertive and establish boundaries is an important aspect of developing self respect and self esteem. Therefore, I’ve also added a Personal Boundaries and Coping Strategies resource to this freebie! Enjoy
